Square shape
Images; they come in all shapes and sizes. Most have straight edges to them! Pictures can be long and thin, tall, wide, oblong, square, oval or circular.
Composition is about fitting the items into the image shape in a eyecating or pleasing way. Its difficult if you dont know the shape or shapes that the final image will appear in. So thats an initial question to my clients. Above is a rectangular thing in a square shaped image! It is a beautiful Leica digital camera. It has a high quality brown leather strap, nicely stitched with white cotton and embossed with the Leica trade mark logo.
